This LSBU Clearing How to Apply Evening will prepare you to make an application to study at undergraduate and postgraduate level and guide you on financing your studies for September 2017
Our Clearing How to Apply Evening is for all those who have decided that they are interested in applying to LSBU and want to start their degree in September 2017. We will be offering guidance on the application process and funding opportunities.
These sessions are free and will guide applications for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses at the University for September 2017 intake. If you are an international student looking for help and advice with your visa application, please contact our International Office who will be able to assist.
The Clearing How to Apply Evening will include:
The application process explained
We will talk you through the application process, including: the stages of the process; the number of applications you can make; references; offer tips; and practical advice on writing your personal statement.
While we cannot guarantee that your application will be successful, we can give you the knowledge and confidence you need to write a clear and engaging application.
The student finance process explained
We will explain the cost of studying, including: funding, loans and scholarships; the finer details of the repayment process; as well as talking through LSBU’s financial support packages.
Questions and answers
We understand the application process can seem daunting. We will have plenty of time for questions and answers with staff and current LSBU students.
