The National Bakery School at London South Bank University (LSBU) is proud to be hosting the British Society of Bakers Spring Conference for 2018 featuring notable speakers from the industry

The National Bakery School at LSBU is proud to be hosting the British Society of Bakers Spring Conference for 2018. The day will feature a number of talks from notable figures in the baking industry including:

  • Professor Paul Berryman, Department for International Trade – CIT Innovation and research in the Food Sector
  • Beverley Dunkley, Barry Callebaut – Application for Chocolate
  • Gordon Gafa, Bakery Category Director for Tesco – Tesco’s Winning Ways to Build Success

As well as the talks, there will be an opportunity to network over lunch and take a tour of the National Bakery School’s facilities.

The British Society of Bakers is a non-profit organisation dedicated to inspiring learning and strengthening links within the baking industry. The BSB organises two annual conferences and focuses on bakery products, ingredients, production processes, equipment, marketing strategies, legislation, and the latest developments and trends in the sector.

The National Bakery School was the world’s first bakery school and will be celebrating its 125th year in 2019. The School is home to a team of vastly experience practitioners and professional standard facilities, allowing the NBS to support their students as they strive for baking excellence.
