Sustainability Posters
Building on the success of the Sustainability poster design competition in 2008 in June 2009 the first year BSc (Hons) Product Design and Engineering Product Design students participated in a second competition. The competition was judged by Phil Jones (Chair of SDG), Anuj Saush (LSBU Energy & Environment Manager), Luke Robbins (KTP Associate - developing sustainable design tools at IDC (Industrial Design Consultancy)) and Zoe Robson (Product Designer, Zolo Designs).
The competition was originated and organised by Dr Deborah Andrews, (Architecture & Design, Faculty of Engineering Science and Built Environment) in conjunction with Susana Soares (Architecture & Design) and Dan Morton (LSBU People and Planet). The posters are on display around the campus and in the Halls of Residence to inform staff and students about various aspects of sustainability and to encourage behaviour change.
This year the competition was a group project and first prize was awarded to Azeez Balogun, Ryan Campbell, James Tetteh and Mark Williams
