Online Accommodation Application Service

With an offer of an LSBU course apply for accommodation using our Online Accommodation Application Service

Once you have an offer for an academic course at LSBU you should apply for a place in a London South Bank University halls of residence by creating an account in our Accommodation Application Service. Through your online account you can:

  • apply for accommodation
  • check application progress or status
  • receive any offer made directly to your email
  • accept or reject your offer
  • pay your booking fee

Create an account

Do not set up more than one account. When you first visit the Accommodation Application Service you need to enter your details, create a user name, password and provide a valid email address. If you are already a current student you must use your LSBU email address.

On submitting your details a verification email will be sent to you with a confirmation code. Use this to finalise your account. Be aware that your accommodation application service account remains active throughout your time at LSBU so ensure you retain your username and password.

Online application

Once you have created your account you can login and apply online for a place in an LSBU residence. To apply you must have an accepted unconditional offer of a place on a London South Bank University course and meet our allocation criteria.

Application status

Once you have applied you will be able to login to your account and check the status of your application. You will normally receive a response within three working days. If you do not meet the allocation criteria or hold a conditional offer on an LSBU course you may be required to wait until late August/September before we are able to process your application. However, the Accommodation Service will contact you if this is the case.

Only our Accommodation Service can make you an offer of a place in one of our halls of residence. When an application is successful, an offer of accommodation is generated and this be emailed to you.

Trouble shooting

If you are unable to access your account using your username and password do NOT create another account. Instead contact the Accommodation Service immediately on 020 7815 6417 or email and we'll guide you through the process to reset your password.

If you have applied online but your account status is 'making an application' this means your application has been completed but you have not confirmed the details. If so, be aware your application has NOT BEEN SENT via the online system to us. View your application and complete the onscreen instructions to confirm it. If the instructions are unclear contact a member of the Accommodation Service team and we will guide you through the process.

If you have accepted your online offer but failed to make an online payment you need to contact a member of the Accommodation Service team as soon as possible to arrange payment. Please note that your accommodation offer is not secured until the room booking fee payment and online acceptance process has been completed.
