London South Bank University’s Academy of Sport and Brixton Topcats Basketball Club are hosting an invitational tournament to mark the launch of their new partnership at Brixton Recreation Centre on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September
As well as LSBU Brixton Topcats, participants will include Leeds Carnegie (EB Division 1), London Mets (EB Division 2) and Essex Pirates (BBL)
There will also be exhibition games by Lady Topcats, Leeds Carnegie Ladies and LSBU women's basketball team
Tickets are available on the door priced at £3/ £1 (concs.) for each day

London South Bank University’s Academy of Sport and The Athletic Union are proud to present the Sports Awards Dinner 2009, to be held at BAFTA on Friday 15th May.
This annual celebration of LSBU sport marks the culmination of the 2008-09 season and will also see the award of colours and annual trophies.
Tickets are available to sports club members from the Athletic Union priced £40.

Following the recent Wheelchair Rugby and Wheelchair Basketball events, the Athletic Union and Academy of Sport are running a number of one-off workshops in non-traditional sports to help diversify the activities available to LSBU students.
The 'Try Your Hand' series continues with Flag Football (indoor non-contact American Football) on 26th March, Capoeira (Afto-Brazilian dance/ martial arts) on 30th March, and Ultimate Frisbee (exactly what is sounds like!) - also on 30th March.
