Each member of staff has a strong track record of professional practice, academic research and publication, design expertise, and critical thinking about architecture.
Steve has been teaching and practicing architecture for the past 28 years. He joined London South Bank University in 1990 as a Senior Lecturer in Architecture after having graduated with a Master's Degree from the Royal College of Art in 1986.
Paul Davies teaches history and theory of architecture across both BA and PGDip Architecture courses. He's studied at Bristol University and PCL. He is well known internationally for his lecturing and architectural journalism.
Lilly has extensive design studio experience at all levels of architectural education, leading Bachelors design studios for 5 years. and Masters design studios for 15 years. Lilly’s students have received the RIBA President’s Bronze and Silver Medals, and have been commended at both Bronze and Silver level on a number of occasions. Graduates of her studio work in the offices of Foster and Partners, Niall McLaughlin, Wilkinson Eyre, Stanton Williams and Zaha Hadid Architects, among many other distinguished practices.
Brian has established a specification consultancy over the past 20 years, been self-employed 22 years and has 30 years of experience in the architecture industry.
Sue Phillips has over 15 years' teaching experience and has worked in architectural practices ranging from co-operatives with a focus on social housing to large commercial and branding companies. Her interests include social development, filming and sculpture.
Federico Rossi is the academic leader of the Digital Architecture and Robotic Lab and Senior Lecturer in Architecture at London South Bank University (LSBU).
Architectural theorist Prof. Stoppani has taught in Italy (IUAV), Australia (UTS, RMIT) and the UK (AA, Greenwich, Brighton, Leeds Beckett).
Daniel is an architectural designer and researcher having both practised and taught in Beijing and Hong Kong. He is currently a PhD student at The Bartlett School of Architecture, and teaches Studio 4 at LSBU with Seamus Ward.
Ronald Yee is a Senior Lecturer for the Architecture PgDip Course at LSBU and Principle of Yee Associates: Architects & Designers. He has over 30 years' experience as an architect, designing and delivering high profile projects worldwide.
