Claire is a researcher in fire suppression systems, oxygen system explosions, and fire safety science. She is currently working as part of the CleanSky2 EFFICIENT project on green fire suppression for aircraft.
Dr Diaz specialises in reservoir engineering, specifically in the areas of fluid–fluid and fluid–rock interactions, formation damage, and oil recovery methods. In academia he has researched in the areas of nano-materials, and enhanced oil recovery methods.
Andrew's research interests are in multi-phase fluid flow associated with well performance and also heterogeneous catalysis and reaction engineering.
Fatemeh has research interests in polymer reaction engineering, polymer nanoparticles, emulsions and emulsification techniques and is the Course Director of BEng Chemical and Process Engineering and BTEC HND Chemical Engineering.
Dr Helen Turnell is an oil and gas subsurface consultant with UK and international management experience. Her career evolved from geophysical research and technological applications for acreage/prospect evaluation, to licence management and a series of global project management/QA roles for corporate BP.
