Research at London South Bank University operates across our four faculties and divided into a range of themes and groups.

Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences

Research in the Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences (AHS) takes place under the guidance of the Institute for Social Science Research (ISSR) through the following research centres:

Each of these centres act as a hub for research development, activities and groups and are closely linked to each of the faculty’s departments.

The ISSR is also home to the Faculty’s Graduate School providing a focal point for the management and support of our PhD and professional doctorate.

Faculty of Business

The Faculty of Business (BUS) supports research across a wide range of disciplines.

All research groups in Computing and Information Management come under the umbrella of the Institute for Computing Research.

A number of research groups in Business and Accounting, including the Centre for Accounting, Finance & Governance, come under the umbrella of the Centre for International Business Studies (CIBS).

The Faculty has a further two independent research centres; the Centre for Government & Charity Management and the Ehrenberg Centre for Research in Marketing.
