Research within Informatics, Big Data, Analytics and Related Applications
The Big Data & Informatics Research Group (BDIRG) is a newly formed research group within the School of Engineering. It is a leader in research, development and consultancy on Big Data Informatics technology, drawing on the best scientific traditions in Computer Science, Engineering and Business. Members work collaboratively with the research community and industry.
BDIRG is housed within the School of Engineering’s Computing & Informatics Division. It currently has over 30 interdisciplinary researchers (8 staff, 16 PhD students and 7 associate members).
