One of the best times in the Students' Union calendar is Freshers' Fortnight. Not only will you find out what the Students' Union is all about, but you can meet representatives from all the organisations and clubs that are run on campus. You'll have a great time meeting new people and get to know lots about the University even before you've been to a single lecture.
Freshers' Fortnight is run by the Students' Union and is specifically designed to get new students together and welcome them to life at LSBU. Throughout the two weeks we hold a series of social events, usually starting with a Welcome Party.

The main event of the fortnight is the Freshers' Fair. This fantastic event brings together all of our sports teams, clubs and societies. You'll get to see what they have to offer, pick up a few "freebies" and find out the reasons why you might want to join them. Whether you are looking for new friends, a health kick or a new cause to follow you'll find plenty of inspiration here.
