You can search for keywords and search terms similarly to how you would on Google. You can also search using a UCAS or LSBU course code. You can search on single or multiple keywords and sentences.
Below is an example of search terms:

| Computing | Searches for the word Computing (case insensitive) |
| Computer science | Searches for the words Computer and science, finding any course with either or both words. |
| "Computer science" | Searches for the single term "Computer science" and is case insensitive (this is not the same as searching for both words) |
| Business, accounting and "public sector" | Searches for the words Business and accounting along with the search term "public sector". Note the 'and' word is not searched for. |
