The "In at the Deep End: starting to teach in in higher education" booklet written by Phil Race of Leeds Metropolitan University supports new lecturers with the first few critical elements of teaching in higher education.
The booklet also contains several checklists that new staff might find useful. The booklet and copies of the checklists that can be downloaded in Word are available from the LTEU Staff Gateway page.
