Community Care Inform [electronic resource].
Community Care Inform is an online reference tool for social care professionals working with children, young people and their families. It contains a wealth of expert-written, practice-related information, including guidance to key pieces of legislation; case studies rewritten specifically for social care professionals; expert articles; research and practice guides.

Social Care Online [electronic resource].
Social Care Online is the UK's most extensive database of social care information. With everything from research briefings, to reports, government documents, journal articles, and websites and you find it all with the click of a button. Updated daily by SCIE's experienced information managers, Social Care Online offers unrivalled free access and ease of use.

Social Policy and Practice [electronic resource].
Social Policy and Practice is a bibliographic database with abstracts covering evidence-based social policy, public health, social services, and mental and community health. The database is particularly strong on social care of the young and elderly.

CommunityWISE [electronic resource].
Contains community, charities and voluntary agency information. Data is provided by bodies such as Barnados, Community Development Foundation and the National Centre for Volunteering.

Social Care TV [electronic resource].
Social Care TV contains brief videos on topics such as personalisation, dementia, safeguarding adults and children, mental capacity and seldom heard groups

HMIC Health Management (formerly Helmis) [electronic resource].
Via Ovid. Combines databases of Department of Health from 1983, Kings Fund from 1979 and Nuffield Institute for Health (HELMIS) from 1984 to provide comprehensive research.

Psycarticles [electronic resource].
Via EBSCOhost databases. PsycARTICLES, from the American Psychological Association (APA), is a definitive source of full-text, peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific articles in psychology. The database contains more than 134,000 articles from 63 journals - 50 published by the APA and its imprint, the Educational Publishing Foundation (EPF) - and 13 from allied organisations. It includes all journal articles and book reviews. Coverage spans 1894 to present.

Via EBSCOhost databases. From 1974. Includes details of articles with abstracts from over 1300 psychology journals, from 1974.

Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection [electronic resource].
Via EBSCOhost databases. Psychology & Behavioral Sciences Collection is a comprehensive database covering information concerning topics in emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry & psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational & experimental methods. Has more than 420 full-text journals. Also links to full text from citations within PsycINFO.

RefWorks [electronic resource].
RefWorks is an online research management, writing and collaboration tool designed to help researchers easily gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies.
