ASSIA (Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts). Covers English language journals in applied social sciences. Includes health, economics, social issues & social policy, organisational behaviour and communication. |
IBSS [electronic resource].
Updated weekly, with data going back to 1951. IBSS Online (International Bibliography of the Social Sciences) contains references to over 2400 selected journals and 7000 books per year. |

Social Policy Digest Online is a key resource that provides an easily accessible listing of new developments in the social policy field. |
Social Policy and Practice [electronic resource].
Social Policy and Practice is a bibliographic database with abstracts covering evidence-based social policy, public health, social services, and mental and community health. The database is particularly strong on social care of the young and elderly. |

Census.ac.uk, home of the ESRC Census Programme, provides services to allow users in UK higher and further education institutions to access data from the 1971, 1981, 1991 and 2001 UK censuses. |
CommunityWISE [electronic resource].
Contains community, charities and voluntary agency information. Data is provided by bodies such as Barnados, Community Development Foundation and the National Centre for Volunteering. |
Education Research Complete [electronic resource].
Via EBSCOhost databases. Education Research Complete is a bibliographic and full text database covering scholarly research and information relating to all areas of education. Topics covered include all levels of education from early childhood to higher education, and all educational specialties, such as multilingual education, health education, and testing. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,730 journals, as well as full text for nearly 830 journals. This database also includes full text for 67 books and monographs, and full text for numerous education-related conference papers. |
EIU Country Data [electronic resource].
Annual, quarterly and monthly economic indicators and forecasts from the Economist Intelligence Unit. Covers 117 countries, with 270 series starting from 1980 and forecasting to 2006. |
Index to Theses [electronic resource].
Covers from 1970 onwards. Information on theses accepted for higher degrees by the Universities of Great Britain and Ireland. Information given includes title, date, type of award, University and usually, an abstract. |

International Legal Materials includes access to an extensive collection of US law journals. |
Oxford Reference Online [electronic resource].
