Covers education and training mainly in the UK.

Education Research Complete [electronic resource].
Via EBSCOhost databases. Education Research Complete is a bibliographic and full text database covering scholarly research and information relating to all areas of education. Topics covered include all levels of education from early childhood to higher education, and all educational specialties, such as multilingual education, health education, and testing. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 1,730 journals, as well as full text for nearly 830 journals. This database also includes full text for 67 books and monographs, and full text for numerous education-related conference papers.

ASSIA (Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts). Covers English language journals in applied social sciences. Includes health, economics, social issues & social policy, organisational behaviour and communication.

Australian Education Index [electronic resource].
Contains journal articles, theses, research / conference reports and Parliamentary debates relating to education.

Psycarticles [electronic resource].
Via EBSCOhost databases. PsycARTICLES, from the American Psychological Association (APA), is a definitive source of full-text, peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific articles in psychology. The database contains more than 134,000 articles from 63 journals - 50 published by the APA and its imprint, the Educational Publishing Foundation (EPF) - and 13 from allied organisations. It includes all journal articles and book reviews. Coverage spans 1894 to present.

Psycinfo [electronic resource].
Via EBSCOhost databases. From 1974. Includes details of articles with abstracts from over 1300 psychology journals, from 1974.

GreenFILE [electronic resource].
Via EBSCOhost, Greenfile is a freely accessible research database focusing on the relationship between human beings and the environment, with information on topics ranging from global warming to recycling to alternate fuel sources and beyond. It is comprised of scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports.

IBSS [electronic resource].
Updated weekly, with data going back to 1951. IBSS Online (International Bibliography of the Social Sciences) contains references to over 2400 selected journals and 7000 books per year.

International Children's Digital Library (ICDL) [electronic resource].
The International Children's Digital Library (ICDL) is a five year project funded primarily by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) to create a digital library of international children's books.

ISI Web of Knowledge (WOK), Arts and Humanities Citation Index, BIDS-ISI [electronic resource].
References,citations, selected abstracts. Includes Science Citation Index expanded, Social Science Index and Arts & Humanities Index from 1981 to the present. Covers over 9000 scholarly research journals and is updated weekly. Includes:

Oxford Reference Online [electronic resource].
All major Oxford University Press reference works, including the Companions series, are searchable individually or across the whole database. Strong in the Humanities, Languages, Science and Medicine.

RefWorks [electronic resource].
RefWorks is an online research management, writing and collaboration tool designed to help researchers easily gather, manage, store and share all types of information, as well as generate citations and bibliographies.

Sociological Abstracts [electronic resource].
Covers international sources of references and summaries of journal articles, book extracts etc. from 1963 for social structure and social problems, inequalities and behavioural sciences.

Teacher Reference Center (TRC) [electronic resource].
Provides indexing and abstracts for over 280 of the most popular teacher and administrator trade journals to assist professional educators.

Academic OneFile is the premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive. With millions of articles available in both PDF and HTML full-text with no restrictions, researchers are able to find accurate information quickly. Includes full-text coverage of the New York Times back to 1995. Updated daily.

IngentaConnect [electronic resource].
IngentaConnect offers access to article summaries of over 2500 publications, along with the full text of over 4500 publications from 150 publishers (including: Academic Press, Arnold, Blackwell Science, Blackwell Publishers,Elsevier, Gordon and Breach, Harwood Academic, Portland Press, Professional Engineering Publishing and White Horse Press).

ProQuest Newspapers, Daily Telegraph, Financial Times, Guardian, Independent, Times [electronic resource].
Updated daily. Database of the Daily Mail & Mail on Sunday; Daily Telegraph & Sunday Telegraph; Evening Standard; Financial Times; Guardian & Observer; Times and Sunday Times; Independent. Coverage is from at least January 1998 onwards for all titles.

ScienceDirect (Science Direct) [electronic resource].
Database containing over 1000 full text journals from Elsevier Science and the leading scientific, technical and medical publishers. Covers life, physical, technical and social sciences.
