Our team is currently based in the Perry Library and we are part of the Department of Student Services. We are responsible for making sure that all students who are registered with us have equal access to their education in accordance with the Equality Act. The university is committed to providing accessible education to all students and as such, the area of disability support forms part of the university's Equality and Diversity policy.
We work with a wide range of people across the university, including lecturers, administrators, accommodation and building services staff. If you want to register with us you can make a one-to-one appointment to see a Disability Officer.
We currently arrange support for over 1700 students at LSBU.
In September 2012 we will be moving into the new state-of-the-art Student Centre which is being constructed under the university's existing Tower Block at the corner of Borough Road and Southwark Bridge Road.
Appointments and Quick Query sessions are available at the Southwark and Essex campuses. Appointments for both sites can be made in person at the Southwark Campus, in our office on the 4th Floor Bridge of the Perry Library, or by calling 020 7815 6405.
