QUALITATIVE
LONGITUDINAL (QL) RESEARCH
This page will be updated soon. Please check
later.
Interest in QL research and methodology is
growing. Drivers for this in research and policy communities include
growing interest in the dynamic processes of social life and biography
and change in these over time, and the particular purchase that
qualitative methods have on complexity and context. QL research also
forms part of the ESRC's wider commitment to supporting UK longitudinal
resources, investing in qualitative resources and extending the
(re-)use of archived data. Whilst there is already a significant QL
research literature, there is less discussion of QL methodology and
this tends to be limited to disciplinary and substantive literatures.
