Entry requirements
We accept a range of English language qualifications (PDF File 86 KB). Please contact the international office for further details.
Foundation year requirements
You will need to hold a High School Diploma with a GPA ranging from 2.5-2.8 (on a 4.0 scale)
Undergraduate course requirements
To apply for an undergraduate course at LSBU you need to have one of the following:
- High School Diploma with overall GPA of 2.8 or above (on a 4.0 scale) and one of the following:
- one year of Community College with overall marks of 2.8 or above
- ACT exam score of 24 or higher
- SAT exam score of 1150 (post-March 2016) with 550+ in Evidence Based Reading and Writing
- SAT exam score of 1590+ (pre-March 2016, post-2005)
- two completed AP exams of 3 or better
- 1 year of Community College in relevant subject area with a GPA of 2.8 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)

Postgraduate course requirements
To apply for a postgraduate course at LSBU you need to have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University with a GPA of 2.8 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).

Visa information
As an American national you will need to obtain a student visa or equivalent to be able to study with us at LSBU. The main route for students to come to the UK to study is the student visa.
