London South Bank University welcomes students from Italy who would like to study at Foundation, Undergraduate, Postgraduate or on a Study Abroad programme. The below details indicate our entry requirements, scholarships and details of how to apply are laid out below to help you with your application.

Entry Requirements

Please note these entry requirements are general guidelines and each application will be assessed on its individual merit and alternative qualifications may be accepted. If you have any specific questions please feel free to contact us by emailing eustudent@lsbu.ac.uk

Foundation Entry Requirements

To be eligible to apply for a foundation course at LSBU you need to hold one of the following:

  • English requirements are IELTS 4.5 overall
  • Diploma di Licenza della Scuola Media, Pass

Undergraduate Entry Requirements

To be eligible to apply for an undergraduate course at LSBU you need one of the following:

  • IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80 or Cambridge Overseas Certificate English grades 1 to 6
  • Suitable UK Foundation Course with a 60% grade minimum. If grade below 60% consider offering individual subject grades if maths, English and relevant subjects good.
  • International Baccalaureate, 24 points
  • Diploma de Esame di Stato (formerly Diploma di Maturita), minimum overall mark of 70/100

Postgraduate Entry Requirements

To apply for a Taught Masters postgraduate course at LSBU you need one of the following:

  • IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 580 (Paper), 237 (Computer) or 90 (Internet)
  • Diploma di Laurea Specialistica (LS), Grades over 100/110
  • Diploma di Laurea, Grades over 100/110

To apply for a Research Masters postgraduate course at LSBU you need to have one of the following:

  • English requirements are as follows: IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 580 (Paper), 237 (Computer) or 90 (Internet) and Bachelors Degree
  • A good pass at Masters Degree
