Enrolment and EU Orientation

Enrolment and Orientation is the time you officially join university and we formally welcome you to LSBU.

Enrolment

Enrolment is a two-stage process. The first part is online pre-Enrolment and the second is face-to-face Enrolment at the University. You will receive an email with instructions about how to log onto and complete online pre-Enrolment weeks before your course starts and you must attend your face-to-face Enrolment here at the time you select online. We ask you to bring the original copy of your academic transcripts and your passport with you.

EU Orientation

We know it's important you settle in quickly to being in the UK to allow you to make the most of your studies. We appreciate you may need support with language and cultural differences and the unfamiliarity of practical needs such as opening a bank account. That's why we help all our new EU students feel welcome and create opportunities for them to make new friends by holding separate EU Orientations a few days before the general student orientation. Run over two days, we provide information on the University, including our activities and societies, support services, IT and library facilities, further details on enrolment and tours of our campus and central London landmarks. Details of when this takes place will be sent to you in late July.

At your Orientation, new EU students are paired with more experienced Home students as part of our LSBU Buddy Scheme. The Home students provide varying support, such as a general university orientation, an introduction to London if necessary, advice and support to help you settle in and advice, feedback, encouragement and support appropriate to help you with life at LSBU. They will be your buddy throughout your time at LSBU, helping you to adjust to life in the UK.
