If you’re an undergraduate who’d like to experience life as a student in London for a semester or a year then our Study Abroad Programme is for you. At London South Bank University (LSBU) we offer course paths that build on and enhance your current studies. You’ll study alongside our own students in our central London campus to ensure you learn the most from this cultural, social and intercollegiate experience.
If you'd like to come to us for a longer period of study search our online courses database for what LSBU has to offer.

Study Abroad is all about adding value to your time as a student. By travelling and living in another country, interacting with people from different backgrounds and learning from a teaching body with a wealth of professional expertise our Study Abroad students enjoy a truly dynamic and life-altering experience. And when you are home again potential employers will be very interested in you. Over 50% of US Human Resource managers prefer applicants with study abroad experience.
While studying abroad you’ll get to know yourself better, gain greater confidence in your decision-making processes and immerse yourself in a new culture. As well as attracting many students from London and the rest of the UK, London South Bank University is also home to students from over 100 different countries so you can be sure that you’ll learn about a range of different cultures during your time here.
And remember, learning won’t just happen in the classroom. Think how excited you’ll be about getting around on our world famous train networks, using our currency and taking time out to visit much-photographed landmarks like St Paul’s cathedral or Buckingham Palace. You’ll quickly learn that it’s very easy to get to know London.
- Lychou Kouai, Chemical EngineeringLSBU has a friendly and diverse student body from many regions of the world. The Study Abroad staff have been extremely helpful in accomodating my adjustments to London. The city is exhilarating and great for any student looking for both excitment and enlightenment. With many activities going on throughout the year, there is always something to keep me busy.
This is definitely an adventure everyone should experience and I highly encourage everyone who has this oppurtunity to take it.
