We've invested heavily in the Faculty's infrastructure. Our facilities are impressive and make a big difference to our students' experience. We have spent millions to create a beautiful new building to house the Faculty on our Southwark Campus. It features specially designed lecturing and teaching rooms as well as a whole new suite of state-of-the-art skills laboratories with many of the latest health care innovations. The laboratories are the ideal place for you to practise your skills in an environment that accurately recreates hospital and community situations.
As part of your LSBU course you'll spend a significant proportion of your time on placement. The faculty has established links with a number of leading organisations that deliver health and social care services throughout London and the South East of England, including some of London's top institutions. Don't be surprised to find yourself on the wards of Guy's, St Thomas' or Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children or in community based services working alongside and learning from qualified, experienced and expert practitioners.
