As a Student, you will spend approximately 50% of your time in practice learning from experienced qualified practitioners. This is a key part of all Faculty of Health and Social Care profession courses.
When you are learning in practice you will be supported by qualified and experienced staff. The focus is on active, experience-based learning and you will be supervised at all times by qualified staff who co-ordinate and oversee the practice learning.
The Faculty has established professional partnerships with a number of leading organisations that deliver health and social care services throughout London and the South East of England, including Guy's and St Thomas' hospitals, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and University College London Hospitals. The length of practice learning placements can vary from four to 12 weeks depending on your course.
