We offer a wide range of courses relevant to health and social care. How you apply depends on the type of course you are interested in.

How to apply for Continuing Professional and Personal Development (CPPD)

There are two ways that you can apply for any of the programmes, modules or study days in this prospectus:

1. Go to our online CPPD Portal where you can search for the latest information and apply online at the click of a mouse. A video tutorial is available on the site to assist you in completing the form.

2. Use the application form below (PDF) and send it to the appropriate administrator.

Please note if you are being sponsored by your NHS Trust, you will need to discuss your application with your line manager first, as they are requested to authorise your application.

Before completing the forms, please read the guidance notes included with each form.

Awards and pathways

To apply for any awards and pathways available in the CPPD Prospectus:

Units and study days

To apply for any units and study days available in the CPPD Prospectus:

References

The Reference Request for Study Form must be completed if the course you are applying for requires one or more references. If you are unsure whether the course you are applying for requires additional information or references, please contact the course leader identified in the CPPD Prospectus or check the website.

Additional information

The Additional Information Form must be completed if the course you are applying for requires:

  • details of professional qualifications gained
  • details of qualifications you may be studying for currently
  • an extended personal statement of 1,000 words rather than 200 words.

The Additional Information Form should be returned together with the appropriate application form.

How to apply for Non Medical Prescribing Courses

Non Medical Prescribing courses can be applied for using the on-line application system. Once you have completed your application you will receive an application number, which you will need to use for any queries. In addition to your application, please complete the below form and return it to our administrator.
