Our commitment to partnerships has encouraged us to adopt a strategy of co-operation and collaboration. Working with a wide range of organisations, we have been able to identify and develop new educational and research opportunities.
Our professional partnerships provide our students with incredible learning experiences. Working in real health and social care environments has the advantage of expanding students' skill levels in some of today's most highly regarded settings.
Our partnerships are designed to create a network of inter-dependence with, and between partner universities and local health and social care agencies. A key feature of our partnerships has been the creation of joint appointments, negotiated between the University and partner agencies in recognition of common interest in knowledge transfer, research and practice development. The outcome has created an understanding between the health and social care sector and the University, enabling the needs of each partner to be met.
