Withdrawals and interruptions

New students:

Overseas Students – if you withdraw by 8 October the University will retain the Overseas Deposit amount.
Home or EU Students – if you withdraw by 8 October the University will retain 15% of the year’s course fee.
If you choose to go ahead with your enrolment after 8 October 2010, the minimum fee that you will be liable for is 50%.

All students - new and continuing:

If your withdrawal or interruption form is received by the following dates your fees will be adjusted as follows:

  • At any time during the first semester: you must pay 50% of your full year’s tuition fee plus any registration fee, field trip or residential fee and credit charge
  • At any time during the second semester: you must pay your full year’s tuition fee plus any registration fee, field trip or residential fee and credit charge

Any refund is at the discretion of the University. You will need to complete a refund request form, available from the Fees and Bursary Office (Finance Department). Refund procedures are detailed on this form. Partial withdrawals or interruptions, (where you stop studying modules after having started them), will not result in any adjustment to your fees.
