The emphasis of Deborah Andrews' research is sustainability. As a member of the Mad Dog solar powered car team Deborah collaborated with researchers within the Faculty as well as researchers at the Centre for Automotive Industry Research at Cardiff Business School, the University of Queensland in Australia and the University of Waikato in New Zealand. Deborah's current research includes the design of sustainable products, design tools and strategies. She is also engaged in interdisciplinary projects related to the development of sustainable energy systems with members of the Faculty.
Glen Thompson's research interests are the design and manufacture of human-powered vehicles, specifically the design of aerodynamically efficient recumbent cycles.
