Our education courses will enrich your understanding of how people learn. Our lecturers have all taught in the classroom and bring a wealth of practical experience to your studies. With a focus on employability, we offer both placement and theory opportunities for you to develop your confidence and career potential.
Placements are available in a number of different settings, ranging from mainstream primary schools, schools for children with special educational needs, hospitals, prisons, Pupil Referral Units and theatres. Past students have worked at the National Theatre, Saatchi Gallery, forest school and special schools.
Unique to LSBU, you can complete your placement in a mainstream school or alternative education setting.
We collaborate with psychologists to create exciting course modules.
Our facilities contain all the equipment you'd expect to find in a primary school.
