Student Mental Health & Wellbeing offers support and advice around mental wellbeing and emotional issues.

If you feel like you’re having a tough time, you don’t know where to turn or who to talk to, or if you’re concerned about the university knowing you’re finding it difficult to cope, why not book for an informal chat?

The service is free and confidential and there are a range of appointment days and times available.

  • Talk in confidence
  • Appointments can be face to face or over the phone
  • Each appointment is 50 minutes and will take place in Caxton House (opposite the LRC)
  • Appointments are available throughout the week

To book an appointment, or for more information, please contact our automated service on 020 7815 6474 or email studentwellbeing@lsbu.ac.uk. Leave a message with your name, student ID and telephone number, and a member of staff will get back to you. Please also tell us in the email or message what days/times you are available.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Juliette Smyth is our new Student Mental Health & Wellbeing Co-ordinator (Clare Flaxen left LSBU on the 3rd February.)

While Juliette is developing her role, there may be some delay in her availability. The current expected waiting time for an appointment is approximately three weeks.
