Here is a showcase of recent initiatives by students on our Enterprise Associate Scheme.
Matthieu Philippault
After receiving a First Class degree from LSBU in BSc Engineering Product Design, Matthieu Philippault joined our Enterprise Associate Scheme to develop his innovative folding trailer into a market-ready product. Tyligo is named after the Greek for 'to fold' and offers a compact and lightweight solution to a classic travel solution. His creation recently won him a SHELL LiveWire Grand Ideas Award.
Arnold du Toit
Enterprise Associate and Designer, Arnold du Toit, has produced Rolley Golf, a revolutionary golfing product. Arnold started his company, Drive Daddy Ltd, to commercialise his invention. He's found working with the Enterprise Associate Scheme has supported his drive to become an entrepreneur driven by his passions for golf and design.
James Barnham
LSBU Industrial Design graduate, James Barnham, has seen his innovative product, Nova-Flo, go from strength to strength. The magnetic device stops baths from overflowing with the help of a sensor. With international clients building, his product has been a hit with Las Vegas hotels who need to be very conscious of water consumption.
Barney Townsend
Barney developed a novel hydrofoil surfboard for kite surfing. It lifts the surfboard above the water and gives the rider increased speed by reducing friction between the board's lower surface and the water. The result is a smoother ride and an overall sensation of flying.
