This is achieved through research, curriculum development for postgraduate courses, continuing professional development courses, undergraduate courses, and network building.Our goal is to develop the skill set of managers, so they may achieve their vision. UK Social Enterprise Research Conference (SERC)The >>Social Enterprise Research Conference is an annual event for practitioner and academic researchers who are actively exploring this new field. Interdisciplinary in approach, the Conference supports the growing number of social enterprise specialist researchers and creates a forum for knowledge to be shared with a large network of stakeholders.For further information see: Now in its 5th year, the Social Enterprise Research Conference will be held at the Southwark Campus of London South Bank University on the 26th and 27th June 2008. The Social Enterprise Research Conference was first launched by the Cooperatives Research Unit at the Open University in July 2002. After two successful years, the event moved to London South Bank University. The themes for each year’s event are determined by the Conference Committee, a panel of UK academics active in social enterprise.
