Unit Aims

The aims of this unit are

1. To equip you with appropriate scientific background for the study of applied science.

2. To encourage a confident, reasoning, disciplined, inquiring and investigative approach to the study of science.

3. To provide you with a body of knowledge of chemical science necessary for the study of biology, biochemistry, food science and the environment.
