This ESRC seminar series aims to stimulate discussion and critical thinking on Diaspora and transnational relationships in the construction and understanding of young people’s ethnic and cultural identities.
The series will bring together different theoretical, disciplinary, methodological and professional perspectives on migrant (and minority ethnic) youth identities, family relationships, social networks and citizenship. The seminars will strengthen the evidence base of empirical and scholarly work on these topics by promoting interdisciplinary dialogue across disciplinary divisions, and include scholars and practitioners from a range of inter/national contexts.
