Through LSBU’s Widening Participation unit our Tourism programme has been actively involved in the London Lifelong Learning Network. We have developed this further and are now starting to deliver level 4 modules in schools and colleges.
The Local Economy Policy Unit (LEPU), which has close links with UELS, provides a forum where academics and practitioners interact to develop a generation of economic development professionals. A number of the department’s staff play a key role in producing the acclaimed Local Economy journal on social policy.
