Central to our aim of providing high quality Initial Teacher Education is our commitment to our programmes being firmly rooted in an equal and collaborative partnership with schools. We are convinced that working this way enhances the quality of our student experience and improves the quality of children's learning in schools. Schools in partnership with us also play a key role in assessing and monitoring students’ progress during their training and full support is provided to schools involved in supervising students.

We also run partnership development days where visiting speakers and experts in specialist fields share good practice. Schools working in partnership with us on Initial Teacher Education also have the opportunity to take advantage of our CPD programme, and our Masters level programmes.
