Employment prospects for graduates of our courses are good. Although we provide many teachers for London schools, successful students go on to enter the teaching profession in a variety of schools across the UK. We feel that teachers who have trained with us will be reflective practitioners, able to draw on an in-depth understanding of issues of equality, inclusion and citizenship, to ensure that children from all backgrounds achieve their potential.
Graduates from our masters and doctoral programmes often work in education and related fields during their time on the course. The skills and knowledge they develop while studying with us help them in their career development and progression. There is a recognition both nationally and internationally that masters level education (and beyond) for teachers is a crucial part of developing their professional effectiveness, with real benefits for students' learning.
Students taking our courses find a range of enhanced career possibilities open to them. Graduates may go on to initial teacher education or other areas of education such as training for Early Years Professional Status.
