With over a 100 years of student education behind us we have the experience that can make the difference to you. Find out more through our events and Open Days.
We are proud of the level of support our teaching staff provide students
We have created extensive links and business partnerships with employers who help us deliver highly relevant courses to our students. These relationships lead to professional accreditation, course design and validation, student work placements, field trips, scholarships and prizes, guest lectures, seminars and sessions on careers and further study.
The employability of our students is a key priority. Our courses will help you become a confident and ambitious graduate with the knowledge and skills that employers are looking for. Our research active staff ensure lectures are challenging and up-to-date and many of our visiting staff are professionals within their fields, ensuring that our students benefit from cutting-edge knowledge and practices.
We have wide ranging links with our community and work closely with many local schools, colleges, charities, government agencies, the public sector and arts and media organisations. This means our students get involved outside of the classroom by volunteering or taking advantage of our internship opportunities.
Our facilities are impressive and make a big difference to our students' experience. At LSBU's Southwark campus, our halls of residence, library, Learning Resources Centre and all of our classrooms are a short walk apart. Our students experience a range of benefits: being taught in our new landmark building K2, working in specialist industry-standard laboratories and dedicated IT suites using the equipment, in our Media Centre or performing in our Edric Hall Theatre.

Our staff have a well deserved reputation for offering personalised student support. Through this they are able to enhance student achievement and satisfaction by providing individual and group tutorials, seminars, workshops, Personal Developing Planning, careers sessions and a dedicated Faculty Student Office.
LSBU's central London location is in easy walking distance of leading arts and cultural organisations, such as the Imperial War Museum, National Theatre, Royal Festival Hall, and Tate Modern, as well as many law courts, major governmental and business headquarters. This means that we not only teach on campus, but use the city as a classroom as well.
The Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences is also a great place to be if you are an American student thinking about a one or two semester Study Abroad Programme. With us, students benefit from a dynamic, life-changing cultural, social and intercollegiate experience.
Korinne Ernst,Nothing quite compares to London or all of my experiences there. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to study here, especially with the program at LSBU. I would absolutely love to finish all of my schooling there.
