At LSBU we have created a portfolio of funds and scholarships to create some valuable opportunities for the future of our university and our students.
The LSBU Annual Fund is an opportunity for those closest to the University, our alumni, parents, staff and friends, to play an important role in our present and our future. It is a restricted fund which supports scholarships, library resources and student facilities during the following financial year.
Each year, students from the LSBU Connection Centre call thousands of graduates to raise money for the Annual Fund to support teaching, research, student facilities and scholarships. For four evenings each week, up to 16 current LSBU students call our alumni to talk about their time at University, to update their records and to request their support this year's Annual Fund.
Donations to the University of below £50,000 which have not been otherwise restricted, are automatically applied to the University's Annual Fund. Donations of £50,000 or more, which have not been otherwise restricted, are applied to the University's Capital Projects Fund.
If you would like to make a donation by cheque or CAF Voucher, simply complete our Donation Form (PDF 35KB - opens in new browser window) or make a gift payment online.
For over 115 years this institution has played an integral part in education, creating graduates who are confident, prepared and excited about the future. Our long-standing reputation for professional development means our graduates are now among the highest paid in the UK.
Around the UK, more and more graduating classes are choosing to make a class gift to mark either their graduation or its anniversary. Each year, we ask each graduating student and their families to mark this momentous occasion by making a donation of £50. Each gift is a lasting tribute to their hard work and dedication.

At LSBU, we understand how important a degree can be in career progression and professional fulfillment. We are also keen that the cost of further study does not deter students from a potentially life-changing opportunity. That's why we've been inviting our past students to donate funds to support scholarships for those studying at LSBU.

The Vice Chancellor's Capital Fund was created to receive donations that can be accumulated and applied to substantial University projects. This might include the creation of new teaching facilities, a resource for students or a major new programme of activity.
By careful stewardship, the University is able to generate a small surplus each year. By nurturing this surplus we can build funds to undertake significant capital projects. Donations to the Vice Chancellor's Capital Fund are usually significant one-off donations made as a single payment or over a limited number of years.
