A number of people employed by the university or volunteering to sit on our Board of Governors are involved in running London South Bank University (LSBU). In this section you'll find out more about who they are and what they do.
LSBU is a company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales. It is an exempt charity within the meaning of the Charities Act applying in England and Wales and from 1 June 2010 its principal regulator has been the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). The following details apply to it:
LSBU's objects are laid out in its Memorandum and Articles of Association 2003 (PDF 69K) - opens in new window, which govern how the University is run.
As an exempt charity our governors are also our trustees. For further information on our trustees please see the profiles of our governors. Where members of the Board also serve as trustees of other charities, details are recorded in their profiles.
