Community Engagement Project

With our main campus set in the central London borough of Southwark, London South Bank University (LSBU) is at the heart of a vibrant community. Our Community Engagement Project works with a wide range of public, voluntary and community organisations to promote education and to give members of the public the opportunity to visit our campus.

We're always happy to hear from local organisations who would like to discuss events and projects. What we offer includes:

  • support and hosting of free community events e.g. Proud of Southwark 2012.
  • hosting free seminars and workshops at LSBU
  • coordinating Student Ambassadors to help with local community events
  • free information, advice and guidance to adults thinking about returning to education
  • working in partnership with local organisations to engage our communities in Lambeth and Southwark
