Marketing and Communications
The Marketing, Recruitment and Admissions department is responsible for the University's student recruitment, its reputation and external relationships.
The team coordinates:
- media relations
- student recruitment
- partnerships with local schools and colleges
- community engagement;
- brand and visual identity
- our websites, such as lsbu.ac.uk
- corporate events
- market research and insight
The Admissions Office process upward of 30,000 applications every year. We create and update student records through every stage of the application cycle.
We make decisions on applications to the majority of courses for most Schools

- School of Law and Social Sciences
For the School of Health and Social Care we carry out an initial screening, ensuring that applicants meet minimum entrance and residency requirements, before passing to the School for interview shortlisting.

The Press Office manages all press enquiries related to LSBU. The team handles media statements, press releases, publicity, interview requests and monitors media coverage.
