Library and Learning Resources
Learn more about the services provided by our Library and Learning Resources teamLSBU has three libraries, one on each campus.
· The Southwark campus library – located in the LSBU Hub,holds items for all LSBU courses.
· Havering Campus Library holds items for health-related courses
· Croydon Campus Library holds items for health-related and business courses.
We have a range of study environments for individual and group learning, course materials, online information resources, as well as over 250,000 books and DVDs.
All our libraries provide computer access for students, as well as printing, scanning and photocopying facilities. We have Wi-Fi access, bookable group rooms, and laptop computers for loan. Large format printing is available in the LSBU Hub on Southwark campus. There are two plotters in the Computer Labs on level 02.
The University’s Student IT Support team are based in our libraries too, just come along to one of our help desks or visit our website for support.
The Information Skills Librarians offer support with referencing, researching for assignments and using the referencing software RefWorks. You can attend an online or on-campus workshop, as well as meeting with the team, individually or in small groups. You will find online resources created by the librarians on a range of useful topics.
Our Digital Skills Team can help you with using computers and some popular software. They provide training on Microsoft Office applications for both beginners and advanced users. They also offer the chance to gain certificates in Microsoft Office and Adobe software. If you’d like help with navigating around the Moodle VLE or managing your computer files, get in touch. We offer workshops and one-to-one appointments both online and on-campus
