Ibraheim Almalkawi is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Health and Social Care. He has a clinical background in Critical Care and has worked in various Intensive Care Units including general intensive care units, cardiothoracic, neurosurgery and liver specialty. Ibraheim has a particular interest in teaching acute respiratory distress syndrome and systematic inflammatory distress syndrome. He is also part of a team delivering the NMC approved mentorship course and has special research interest in practice assessment.
Ibraheim has a BSc (Hons) in Professional Nursing from Anglia University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Practice Education from London South Bank University. He also holds an MSc in Advancing Critical Care Practice from Kings College London.
