Dr Bond is Senior Lecturer in Social Research Methods and Course Director of the BSc (Hons) Sociology programme. He was educated at Columbia College, Columbia University and the London School of Economics. He has taught at the Universities of Kent and Oxford as well as being a research fellow at the London School of Economics and Nuffield College, Oxford.
Dr Matthew Bond teaches on the BSc in Sociology and Criminology, the BA in Politics and the MSc in Criminology.
Level 4: Sociological Imagination Level 5: Social Research Skills 1 and Social Research Skills 2 Level 6: Dissertation Supervision Level 7: Data Analytic Techniques for Social Scientists, Methods of Social Research and Evaluation.
Dr Matthew Bond has completed research on the delivery of health services, health policy, corporate politics and elite networks. He has published in journals including Political Studies, The British Journal of Sociology and Sociology. He has received funding from the ESRC and the Department of Health. His research has been showcased in the Daily Telegraph and Radio 4's Thinking Allowed.
