Cheryl Angell-Wells has taught occupational therapy at London South Bank University since 2007 in the subject areas of occupational therapy models and theory, cultural competency and mental health. Cheryl has a particular interest in affective disorders, bereavement and health professional education.
She completed the Diploma in Occupational Therapy in 1982 and worked in the health service for 12 years in the areas of: care of the elderly, adult mental health services, drug addiction and cardiology as well as respiratory medicine. Cheryl has worked in health professional education since 1994 and previously worked at Brunel University. She completed a MSc in Mental Health UMDS (UCL) and a PGCE at the Institute of Education and is currently studying for a doctorate in education.
