Social Sciences in Excellence in Teaching Awards
Each year the LSBU Students' Union invites students to nominate members of staff for the annual LSBU Excellence in Education Awards.

The awards provide an opportunity for students to give prominence to inspirational staff who have contributed to their University experience. This year 11 members of the department were nominated across three categories – outstanding lecturer, supervisor, and student feedback in the 2014 awards.
Dave Edwards (Head of Department) expressed his delight with the result adding "this acknowledges the dedication and expertise of colleagues within Social Sciences and their commitment to our student success".
